Today we will explain how to independently replace the timing belt on Ford Ecoboost vehicles. To replace the belt, we need to remove the pulley so we can slide the belt off. We open the front hood using a 17 mm wrench, loosen the pulley bolt. We remove the pulley and loosen the tensioner roller and safely slide off the timing belt. We insert the belt into the teeth and tighten the tensioner roller to secure the timing belt. We insert the pulley into the gear wheel.
