The fog light is essentially an emergency light, as it is used in very low visibility conditions, typically due to fog. This tutorial shows how to remove it, noting that the work was performed on a 2012 Ford Focus, but the operational method is identical for the Ford Fiesta.

To access the fog light, you need to remove the front wheel arch and all the cover panels located underneath, between the bumper and the engine.

Once this is done, unscrew the fixing screws and extract the fog light from its housing.
