In this video, see how to reset the service light on a Ford Kuga MK2: turn off the engine and ensure the handbrake is engaged. Close all doors, the boot, and the bonnet properly. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine, and use the buttons on the steering wheel: press "menu", select "vehicle settings", scroll to "oil life" or "maintenance reset" and hold the "ok" button for five seconds. Wait for the message "reset completed" to appear on the display. Turn off and restart the car to verify that the light is indeed off. On some models, an accelerator + brake sequence must be performed after the reset for confirmation.
