How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Escape

Here's how to reset the service light on a Ford Escape: use the buttons on the steering wheel, usually located on the right side. Scroll down with the controls until you find the "i" (information) icon, then press the "Menu" button. Once in the menu, find the "oil life" option; press "OK" to select it. At this point, the system will ask you to confirm the reset: hold down the "OK" button. You will see the percentage change until it reaches 100%, indicating that the operation is complete and the service light has been reset. This procedure applies to the 2022 model; it may vary slightly on other versions, but generally not by much.
