How to Remove the Front Headlight from a Ford Ka

Model: Ford Ka MK 1 - Years 1996-2008

To remove the front headlight from a first-generation Ford Ka, first open the bonnet and locate the fastening screws of the headlight assembly at the top of the headlight. Unscrew these screws with a screwdriver or a suitable socket. Then locate the side fixings of the headlight and remove them. Once all the fastening points are removed, carefully pull the headlight outwards to disengage it from its housing. Before completely removing it, disconnect the electrical connector attached to the headlight assembly. After disconnecting the wiring, the headlight can be fully extracted from the vehicle.
