Replacing Cabin Air Filter on Ford EcoSport

Model: Ford Ecosport BK, MK 1 - Years 2012-2023

The cabin filter of the EcoSport is located behind the gear lever panel, at the bottom right; to access it, remove the gear lever trim by gently pulling it off, then unscrew the two screws securing the right side panel. Once the panel is removed, you will see the box containing the filter; unscrew the four Torx screws of the cap and extract the cartridge to replace it with the new one, ensuring the correct orientation as marked on the replacement part. After repositioning the cap of the box, close and secure the four Torx screws, then refit the side panel by securing the two screws removed earlier; press the gear lever trim back into place and you are done.
