The boot of the Ford Puma is the largest in its category; it offers 456 litres, which expands to 1,216 litres when the rear seats are folded down. Beneath the boot floor, there is the megabox, an 80-litre space, fully plastic-lined and with a drain plug at the bottom, where you can throw in all the dirtiest, wet, and muddy items without worrying about cleaning the vehicle. Afterward, simply wash the box with water (which drains from the plug) and everything will be clean again. The tailgate can be opened not only with the remote but also from underneath the boot using your foot, and it lowers electronically with a button located on the upper right side of the tailgate, which signals audibly that it is closing.
