How to Reset the Oil Warning Light on the 2017 Ford Transit

In this article, we will see how to reset the oil warning light on the 2017 Ford Transit. To reset the light, turn off the ignition and the engine, then press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. While holding them down, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, and wait about 20 seconds for the reset procedure to complete with the message confirming the reset on the dashboard. Then release the pedals and start the engine. Now the procedure will be complete. It is recommended to perform the reset only if the light remains on after the service, as we have seen, the procedure does not require tools or software.
