Instructions for Replacing the Car Radio

To install a new aftermarket car radio, first remove the original radio and obtain the appropriate extraction keys. You will also need an adapter to fit the new radio (which will likely be smaller than the original), the corresponding fascia, the antenna cable adapter, and the wiring connector to link the aftermarket stereo to the original wiring. Insert the keys into the four slots at the corners of the radio, with the notches facing inward, until you release the retaining springs and pull it out from its housing, disconnecting the plugs attached to it. Then connect the adapter wiring to the original plugs (the video shows the correspondence between wire colours and their functions) and then connect the new radio; insert it into the housing ensuring it fits and locks correctly.
