Replacing the remote battery on Ford vehicles is a very simple and quick task that can be done independently using just a flathead screwdriver. The battery we will use for the replacement is a CR 2032. Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the cover of the remote. Take out the old battery and insert the new one. Position the remote cover and press down to close it. After replacing the battery, test the remote by going near the vehicle and pressing the lock and unlock buttons.
