How to remove the door panel on a Ford Focus? Here’s how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Remove the plastic cover from the handle; use a screwdriver to unscrew the internal handle of the door and unscrew the screws in the door opening lever. Detach the door panel, disconnect the window regulator and speaker connectors. Do not lose any of the clips behind the plastic panel that were removed first. Now that you have removed the door panel, peel off the adhesive covering from the metal to carry out maintenance.
