How to Change the Diesel Filter on a Ford Fiesta

Replacing the diesel filter is an operation to be performed on average no later than every 12,500 miles or at least once a year to avoid damage to the engine, injectors, or pump. Its lifespan can be extended further with the use of specific cleaning additives or treated fuels. To proceed, park the car with the handbrake on and the engine off, then open the bonnet. Remove the engine cover by pulling it towards you. Locate the filter to be replaced and unscrew the three bolts of the bracket with a 10mm nut. Now disconnect the connectors and the fuel pipes. Two more pins and you can slide out the filter. Remove the cover and proceed to replace the old part with the new one. Then reverse the steps.
