How to Replace the Number Plate Lights on a 2007 Ford Focus

To replace the number plate light bulb on a Ford Focus, first, place the car on a ramp or secure it on level ground. Open the boot and access the small light units that house the bulbs for the number plate illumination. Use a flathead screwdriver to lever the right side of the light unit and remove it from its housing. Once this is done, you will have access to the bulb you want to replace. For safety, you can disconnect the electrical supply. Once the new bulb is fitted, reposition the small light unit in its place by simply pushing it with your fingers. And that's it!
