Ford Focus - Video tutorial

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011
Part: License plate light
Operation: How to replace the license plate lights in the 2007 Ford Focus

To replace the license plate light bulb in the Ford Focus, we first put the car on the bridge or we block it on level ground. We open the tailgate of the luggage compartment and go to work on the small ceiling lights that house the bulbs for illuminating the license plate. We use a slotted screwdriver to pry up the right side of the light fixture itself and thus remove it from its housing. Once this is done, we have access to the bulb we want to replace. For safety we can disconnect the power supply. Once the new bulb has been mounted, we must reposition the small ceiling light in its seat by simply pushing it with your fingers. And that's it!
