How do you remove the bulbs from the rear number plate of a Ford Focus? Here’s how to replace the damaged bulbs. Pry at the sides of the number plate light, removing the light unit located in the rear bumper of the car. Disconnect the bulb holder, then the bulb from it. Fit the new/LED bulb (same size and voltage), inserting it into the bulb holder, then refit the light unit into the tailgate pressing until the clips lock automatically. Replace the bulb in the other number plate light. Turn on the number plate lights and check their operation.
