How do you remove the instrument cluster of a Ford Mondeo? Follow these steps to disassemble the instrument cluster. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws located in the plastic trim beneath the instrument cluster; take off the cover. Unscrew the securing screws of the instrument cluster; after removing the screws, pull the unit away from the dashboard and disconnect the power cable located at the back of the instrument cluster. Install a new unit and (replace the LEDs in the instrument cluster) reassemble it. Finally, reverse the assembly steps.
