How to replace the diesel filter on a Ford Fiesta? Let's see the replacement in this video. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet. Remove the ventilation cover; using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts on the plate that secures the filter housing (disconnect the cables and various hoses from the filter) where it is located. Extract the diesel filter housing and open it; replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the diesel filter housing and tighten the screws (reconnect hoses and cables). Close the front bonnet.
