Removing the Door Panel of a Ford Escort

Remove the door panel of a Ford Escort. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws located in the space of the upper door handle and the screws present in the handle (after removing the plastic cover). Remove the window winder. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away with your hands and disconnect it from the door (unplug the power harness). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Refit the panel onto the door as it was removed.
