How to install, replace or repair the ignition switch

This video illustrates and explains how to replace, install or repair the ignition switch of a Ford Ranger. To proceed safely disconnect the battery. After having unhooked the panel located above the pedal board, with a 7 mm pocket and its relative extension, unscrew the six bolts located under the panel and remove the metal cover. With the previously used key, also remove the gray switch cover. To remove the switch you will need a T30 torx screwdriver: unscrew the two fixing screws and remove the old switch. Take a new one and position it exactly like the old one and tighten the two torx screws. Reassemble everything as it was before and remember to reconnect the battery.

Where is the battery located in the Renault Master van?
