Replacing the Air Filter on a Ford Transit

Is the air filter on the Ford Transit due for replacement because it has reached the end of its life? Let's look at the disassembly of the components. Pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Release the plastic clips on the container cap and disconnect the air hose. Open the air kit: remove the cap from the filter box and take out the worn air filter. Insert the new filter into the plastic container. Refit the air box cap and secure the plastic clips. Reconnect the air hose to the filter container.
