Removing the Side Indicator on the Ford Focus (Integrated into the Wing Mirror)

Before proceeding with the replacement of the side indicator bulb (integrated into the external wing mirror), ensure the vehicle is safely positioned on a flat surface or a ramp for maintenance work. Once done, use a lever to pry on the perimeter of the rear cover of the mirror to dislodge and remove it. This gives access to the indicator block, which you can pull out from its housing, allowing you to change the bulb you wish to replace. Insert the new bulb and refit everything by reversing the steps taken.
