Replacement of Door Handle Cable

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Handle

First, remove the triangular plastic cover where the external mirror controls are located. Next, remove the screws securing the door panel and detach the handle covers. Once the panel is removed, unscrew the side screws of the lock, disconnect the opening cable first from the internal handle and then from the lock; attach the new cable first to the lock and then to the handle. Check the operation of the newly installed cable and reassemble everything in reverse order.
