Removing Thermostat on Ford Focus 1.6 Diesel

In this video tutorial, learn how to replace the thermostat valve on a Ford Focus second series by following these instructions. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the two battery terminals; then lift the vehicle and remove the plastic protection panel under the engine by unscrewing the screws. At this point, drain all the coolant, then replace the plastic protection; now, remove the intake hose by disconnecting the mass air sensor, and detach the air filter housing. Finally, disconnect the coolant hoses and unscrew the thermostat mounting screws, as shown in the video!
