How to Replace the Starter Motor on a Ford Transit Connect

Model: Ford Transit MK 7 - Years 2006-2014

Start by lifting the front of your Ford Transit Connect to work underneath the engine bay. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the starter motor connector. Then, disconnect the connector. Once you have disconnected the connector, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the starter motor to the engine block. When you have removed all the bolts, you can extract the starter motor, completing the disassembly. To fit the new starter motor and reconnect the connector, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have correctly completed the replacement.
