How to Safely Replace the Starter Motor on a Ford Transit Connect

To safely change the starter motor on your Ford Transit Connect, first disconnect the battery. Since the starter motor is located very low in the engine bay, it is advisable to work from underneath. To better remove the three large screws holding the starter motor in place, spray a lubricant to aid in loosening them and prevent breakage during the operation; then you can remove the part. Position the new part and secure it with its new screws, tightening them firmly. Now test the ignition, and the job is done.
