How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on a Ford S Max Mk I

In this video, you will see how to replace the brake pads on a Ford S Max Mk I. Lift the vehicle and remove the front wheels, then turn the steering to make the brake caliper clearly visible. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the spring located on the caliper. Insert a screwdriver into the inspection window and use it as a lever to retract the piston. Remove the bolt covers (located at the back of the caliper) and unscrew them with a 7 mm hex key; you can now remove the caliper and take out the pads. Using a rewind tool or a screwdriver, fully retract the piston and position the new pads. Finally, reassemble everything. Before starting your car, press the brake pedal several times to ensure the pads adhere to the disc.
