Brake Pad Replacement on a Ford S Max

Replacing the brake pads on a Ford S Max? Remove the pads and, if worn, also the brake discs. Lift the vehicle on a column lift (jack) to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench or air drill) with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking screws of the brake caliper, and remove it from the wheel support. Remove the pads from the top of the brake caliper. Remove the brake disc (unscrew the securing screws). Install the disc and the new pads onto the caliper, then mount the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc. Bleed the brakes if necessary.
