Ford Fiesta - Video tutorial

Model: Ford Fiesta MK 6, Fiesta 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017
Part: Thermostat
Operation: How to replace the thermostat on a Ford Fiesta

Before we begin, we will need to open the front hood of our Ford Fiesta. So let's start by emptying the cooling system, unscrewing the relative drain screw. After that, we will have to go to disassemble and remove the alternator, unscrewing the fixing bolts, and then extract it from its housing. By doing so, we will have reached the thermostat cover. We then proceed by unscrewing and removing the fixing bolts, and then disconnecting the various sleeves and the electrical connector. At this point, we will be able to extract the cover and the relative thermostat from their housing, and we will have finished the disassembly. To fit the new thermostat, we will simply have to follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
