How to Replace the Thermostat on a Ford Fiesta

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 6, MK 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017

Before starting, open the front bonnet of your Ford Fiesta. Begin by draining the cooling system by undoing the relevant drain screw. Next, remove the alternator by undoing the securing bolts, then pull it out of its housing. This will give you access to the thermostat cover. Proceed to undo and remove the securing bolts, then disconnect the various hoses and the electrical connector. At this point, you can extract the cover and the thermostat from their housing, completing the removal. To fit the new thermostat, simply follow these steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
