How to replace the thermostat on a Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdCi?

To replace the thermostat on a Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdCi, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment. Once the bonnet is open, remove the battery from its housing to make access to the thermostat easier. You can now disconnect it from its connector and also remove the hoses connected to it. Once the old thermostat is free from the hoses and connector, you can remove it and replace it with a new spare part. After installing the new thermostat, you can also reinstall the previously removed battery.
