Before starting, we will have to open the tailgate of the luggage compartment of our Ford Kuga. So let's start by disengaging and removing the cover of the fixing screws, using a small slotted screwdriver and prying. After that, we will have to disengage and extract the rear light from its housing. By doing so, we will have reached the internal plug that powers the bulbs. We then proceed by going to disconnect this plug, and we will have finished the disassembly. To fit the new taillight, we will simply have to follow these instructions in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
