Replacing Reverse Light Switch

Reverse lights are very useful for illuminating the area during manoeuvres and alerting any people behind that the vehicle is reversing. Failure to turn on these lights can create dangerous situations. One cause of failure may be a burnt bulb or a faulty switch located on the gearbox that activates the lights when reverse is engaged. To replace it, completely disconnect the battery and then remove its support. The switch is located beneath the support. Disconnect the two wires, remove the faulty component by unscrewing it, and install the new switch. Reconnect the connector and check for proper operation.
