To replace the remote battery of the Ford Ecosport, press the button located at the top to extract the key from its housing. At this point, you will need to pry inside to lift the cover of the front part of the remote, under which you will find the battery. This should be extracted from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After the new battery has been inserted, you can close it by fitting the front cover and reinserting the key into its housing.
