How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Ford Ecosport?

To replace the battery in the key fob of a Ford Ecosport, slide the key out from the top of the device along with the chrome cover. Once these are removed, pry inside the key housing to lift the rear plastic cover of the fob, accessing the underlying battery. This battery must then be slid out of its housing and replaced with a new spare part. Once the new battery is inserted, close the fob and reinsert the key.
