Ford Focus - Video tutorial

Model: Ford Focus MK 4 - Years 2018-2024
Part: Tires
Operation: How to reset the tire pressure warning light on my Ford Focus?

As you almost certainly know, a flat tire can come off or explode. So if you are driving and your Ford Focus's tire pressure gauges light up, pull away quickly enough, if you are on the motorway, hold the steering wheel tight just in case. Once stopped, visually check the condition of your tires and if one of them is completely deflated you will need to change it. If on the other hand it's just under-inflated, cautiously go to a gas station or wherever you can inflate it. Check the tire pressure of your Ford Focus using the pressure gauge and follow the suggestions on the label on the driver's door. Finally, after the inflation, you can restart the engine of your vehicle and go through the main menu in "Settings", then "Assisted driving" and finally "Tire monitor". Here just press ok, to reset the warning light.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
