Replacing the Air Conditioning Compressor

An air conditioning system does not produce cold air but absorbs heat by evaporating a refrigerant liquid inside the vehicle. Use appropriate tools to connect or disconnect the fittings and avoid twisting the pipes. After removing the part to be replaced, always seal the inlet and outlet hoses with caps. Before removing the caps from the compressor, keep it in a cool place for a while to prevent moisture attraction from the oil inside. To avoid contamination with dirt and moisture, do not remove the dust caps. A layer of lubricating oil can be applied to the seals before making the connection.
