How to Remove the Air Conditioning Compressor from a Ford Focus

What to do if the air conditioning no longer works? Identify the broken part and proceed with the replacement. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it in place. Locate the battery and disconnect the terminals. Use a socket spanner to remove the bolts, taking care not to damage the wiring harness membranes, then unscrew all the securing bolts of the air conditioning compressor. Once disassembly is complete, extract it from the engine bay (if difficult, access from underneath). Take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts on the air conditioning compressor.
