How to Replace the Rear Window Glass on a Ford Fiesta

This guide shows how to replace the rear window glass on the car. First, remove the door panel by detaching the screw cover under the internal handle and unscrewing it. Using a Torx T25 screwdriver, unscrew the two screws located in the compartment under the window switch; then, using a trim removal tool, remove the triangular plastic piece at the edge of the window. Carefully detach the internal panel starting from the bottom (apply some force during this operation to avoid damage). Next, disconnect the lock cable by pressing the tabs at the base of the handle (the wire connector will come off quickly) and the window switch cable (using the safety plug). Check for any clips stuck in the door (to be reattached in their respective slots on the door). Now, in the central part of the door, there are two patches that allow you to remove the glass; gently remove them to avoid damage and lower the window until the bolts to be removed are visible. Turn the bolts a few times and gently push the glass to the end of its travel. At this point, remove the internal seal from the window guide where the triangular panel was located and, this time with a Torx T20, unscrew the two screws, remove the internal seal from the door gap, and slide only part of the external seal to remove the plastic piece held by the screws just unscrewed (by sliding it upwards and pulling it).
