If the oil change light keeps coming on after each start of your new Ford Explorer, don't worry as this is completely normal. After changing the oil and filter, a simple manual reset is required to allow the sensor to read the new values.

First, turn on the vehicle's ignition. Press the "OK" button and immediately after, the button with the right arrow.

Select the "Oil Life" option and then press and hold the "OK" button for a few seconds. Once the remaining oil life displayed returns to 100%, release the button and you're done.
