The procedure required to correctly replace the button cell battery inside the key of your Ford Focus is slightly more complex than in other models, but overall it takes only a few minutes to complete. Let's see how to do it. First, locate and press the metal button on the top of the cover to release the physical key. At this point, using a small flat screwdriver, separate the upper cover from the lower one. Open the part of the cover with the buttons, remove the old battery, and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble everything correctly.
