In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi. We start by removing the key and opening the bonnet, then we remove the plastic cover and, with a 10mm socket wrench, we unscrew the fixing nuts of the upper bracket. Then, with a 10mm wrench, unscrew the nuts of both terminals and disconnect them, always starting from the negative. At this point we can unhook the various cables, remove the front panel and extract the old battery. We assemble the spare, taking care to reconnect the positive pole first.
