Ford Transit - Video tutorial
Model: Ford Transit
MK 7
- Years 2006-2014 In case of failure to start the engine and excessive smoke, one of the possible causes could be attributable to a malfunction of one or more injectors; in fact, if a nozzle or shutter is damaged, the injector will tend to pass too much diesel fuel and not give the correct injection pressure, compromising the quality of combustion. In fact, the video highlights the excessive flow rate of the injector of the first and fourth cylinders. Consequently, the engine management control unit will also memorize errors relating to the failure of the injectors. If the vehicle has already traveled several kilometers, it is advisable to replace all the injectors and not just the faulty ones; at the end of the installation it will be necessary to code it by inserting, using the diagnostic tool, the 16-digit code shown on each individual injector: make a note of it before installing them.
