Replacement of the Starter Motor

Model: Ford Mustang MK 5, S197 - Years 2005-2014
Part: Starter motor

The starter motor is essential as it allows you to start your car's engine. You can replace it without necessarily needing a mechanic's help. To begin, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then locate the exact position of the starter motor. Once all the connections of the motor are identified, carefully disconnect them, including the mounting points, in preparation for the reassembly phase. After these operations, you can remove the starter motor and the mounting bracket, which will need to be assembled with the new one.
