How to Relearn the Tyres on the Ford Explorer

In this video, you will see how to proceed if you have replaced or rotated the tyres on your 2020 Ford Explorer. It is necessary for the TPMS sensors to relearn the values to ensure the system reads the pressure correctly. Check the pressure of each tyre, comparing them with the values indicated on the label located on the driver’s door frame. Turn on the ignition: press the brake pedal for three seconds, then release it; turn the ignition on and off three times in this order: ON/OFF-ON/OFF-ON, at the third ON press the brake pedal again for three seconds and release. Turn off the ignition again. Repeat the on/off sequence two more times ON/OFF-ON; at this point, the TPMS should display a message like "Train Left Front tyre", indicating which tyre to start the relearning procedure with. Approach the valve with the tool (which can also be found on AliExpress with code 1005007203827919 for only £7.14, free shipping) until the horn sounds once; proceed: front right and the tool sounds twice, rear right and sounds three times; rear left and sounds four times. Now start the engine for a few minutes until the light goes off, then calibrate by driving for a few minutes. If it does not work, it means the sensor batteries are dead: you will need to replace the sensors, as the batteries cannot be replaced.
