How to reset the engine malfunction indicator light on the Ford Explorer

Today we will see the instructions that will allow us to reset the engine malfunction light of the Ford Explorer, as well as on other models of the manufacturer. First of all, we open the hood and start by disconnecting both battery terminals (positive and negative); in this way the engine control unit will be disconnected from the power supply, thus performing a general reset, as shown in the video. At this point, we reconnect the battery and start the engine; we check that the engine malfunction light has been reset from the instrument panel!
