Instructions for Removing the Rear Bumper

Model: Ford Mustang S197, MK 5 - Years 2005-2014
Part: Rear bumper

To remove the rear bumper, first remove the plastic cover inside the boot to access the fixing pins of the lights that need to be removed, as well as some clips of the bumper itself. Next, remove the screws securing the bumper along the edge of the wing (it is recommended to remove the wheel) and then along the lower edge of the bumper where there are also some push clips. Then, unclip the bumper from the mating edge of the wing and pull it backwards to completely remove it, disconnecting the number plate light connector.
