How to replace the battery in the Ford Ecosport

To replace the Ford Ecosport battery, prepare all necessary materials: a battery identical to the original, a 10 mm socket wrench, and a 13 mm socket wrench. The battery is located in the engine compartment, so lift the car's bonnet and proceed to remove the protective cover and then unscrew the various screws. Use the respective wrenches to unscrew the bolts located above the battery terminals (positive and negative), then pull the battery terminals upwards once unscrewed. Unscrew the screws that secure the metal bracket to the battery container in the engine compartment. Once the nuts are removed, pull the battery out using the handle provided. For a proper job, it is also recommended to clean the entire container area before installing the new battery. Place the new battery in the designated area and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
