Thanks to today's tutorial, we can see all the steps necessary to replace the battery of our first-generation Ford Ecosport, produced from 2012 to 2022. The first step is to remove the control unit positioned above the battery, which also acts as a battery hold-down. To remove it, unscrew the two bolts on the sides and the bolt on the right corner as shown in the video. Once done, disconnect the battery cables, first the negative and then the positive, and finally remove the battery to replace it with a new one.
