To replace the lever that adjusts the seat on the Ford Explorer, you need to remove the cover from the side of the seat to access the underlying components. Under this cover, you will find the mechanism that allows the seat to recline, along with the corresponding lever.

By unscrewing the screws that secure the mechanism and disconnecting the attached cables, you can completely replace the part, allowing you to then cover everything with the side panel. Finally, check that the lever functions correctly.
