To replace the seat adjustment lever on a Ford Escape, lift the fabric panel on the outer side of the seat to access the lever underneath. You can detach the lever from its mechanism by prying it with a tool like a screwdriver. Once the old lever is removed, fit the new replacement part into place. After inserting the new lever, check that the seat can be moved correctly; finally, lower the fabric panel back into position.
