In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the fuel pump in a Ford Escape, a very simple operation. First, ensure that the key is not in the ignition, then open the fuel tank cap to relieve internal pressure.

Next, lift the rear seat using the indicated strap and open the access panel at the base by removing the 4 fastening screws. At this point, disconnect both the power connector and the fuel lines, unscrew the large outer ring, and remove the pump from the tank.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
