Operation: How to replace the fuel pump in Ford Escape?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the fuel pump in your Ford Escape, a very simple operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then open the tank cap to release the internal pressure. We then lift the rear seat using the indicated strap and open the flap located on the base by removing the 4 fixing screws. At this point we can disconnect both the power connector and both fuel pipes, unscrew the large external ring nut and extract the pump from the tank. To fit the spare part, simply follow the reverse procedure.
