In this tutorial, see how to replace the fuel pump in the Ford Escape, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, remove the indicated relay for safety. Start at the rear of the vehicle, then unclip the seat and move it forward. Next, lift the center cover, remove the 4 bolts from the aluminum panel, and disconnect all power connectors and fuel lines. At this point, you can unscrew the outer ring of the pump, pull it out, and install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
